What We Do

Do Something! is a registered nonprofit that works to improve the situation of orphaned and vulnerable children in Africa by contributing necessities to various orphanage and facilities throughout the continent.  We build relationships with the people in the communities in order to get a better understanding of their immediate and longstanding needs.  These relationships help us achieve our goal of reducing the number of orphanage and abandoned children throughout the continent.  One way we can do this is by funding programs that empower women and their children, which will allow them to build upon their communities.  The key to our success is being able to fund projects chosen by the people in the communities where we are working—they know what they need more than we do!
